HELPING YOU GET STARTED

We want to make your experience with 2badmotorsports.com an easy and enjoyable one by providing you with all of the necessary tools and guidelines to help make your sale be successful.

- Make sure that you prepare yourself with all the necessary info about your vehicle including the year/make/model and sale price of your vehicle. Also, make sure to list all of the after market parts, new parts, all services done to the vehicle, and any buzz words such as "one owner. garage kept. never dropped." etc to help attract potential buyers. Remember though, please be as brief as possible in your description, while using correct spelling and full sentences when possible to help the buyers quickly view your product. In addition, be as honest to the best of your knowledge.

- Having a registered e-mail address will ensure a safe, quick and easy way of potential buyers to contact you. You may also include your personal number, but we recommend using an e-mail address instead.

- To help sell your motor sport vehicle we allow everyone of our customers the opportunity to post up to 5 photos of your vehicle!!!!! Photos are not necessary but will definitely help show off your item; many buyers do not contact posts without pictures.

Make sure that your photos meet these requirements:
-Image dimensions are 640x480 or smaller. Images any larger may not appear on the site.
-File size should be under 100 KB, any larger and the load time for a potential buyer may be obnoxiously long and they may never see your item.
-File formats in JPEG format only(Johhny, please include here what this means and why it should be in that format along with reformatting and naming convention instructions...all things I do not have the knowledge enough to write about)

Once your photo meets these requirements, it is time for you to post your photo ads. Please follow these instructions when doing so. (Johnny, again, I am unfamiliar with the style or program you are using for pic uploading, so please give detailed instructions on how to do so here.)

If you are prepared with your contact information, detailed description of your vehicle with year/make/model and price, and your photos meet all requirements then you are ready to post!!!!!

Be completely confident when using your credit card on this site, for we use(Johnny, place the credit card service provider you guys use here) and secure your information on the web. Have fun and good luck!!!!!

Fraud Awareness
Because there is no foolproof way to prevent fraud, awareness is the best defense. Please review our tips below, and use your best judgment in all transactions. As in all consumer transactions, there is no substitute for a healthy skepticism and your own good judgment. Remember, if a deal seems too good to be true then it probably is.

Beware of overpayment or other complicated payment schemes
Beware of an offer from any buyer who proposes to send you a check for an amount greater than the selling price and then have you wire the balance back to the buyer or to the buyer's agent. This is a scam. No one who proposes a legitimate transaction will ask you to wire excess funds anywhere. If you fall for an overpayment scheme, the check you deposit will be counterfeit and even though your bank may initially credit your account, it will hold you responsible when the bogus check fails to clear.
Always know who you are dealing with and understand the offer.
The deal is made between the buyer and seller. All action is between you and the seller. We take no part in the transaction. Don't respond to any email that appears to come from 2BadMotorsports.com (for example, by displaying our logo) and urges you to complete the sale or purchase of a motorcycle, car, truck, ATV, dirt bike, watercraft, aircraft, or snowcraft listed on our site. Such emails are a sure sign of a scam. 2BadMotorsports.com doesn't guarantee or endorse transactions, and we don't have preferred or pre-approved buyers or sellers. We'll never encourage you to buy any particular motorcycle, car, truck, ATV, dirt bike, watercraft, aircraft, or snowcraft listed on 2BadMotorsports.com or to sell your vehicle to any particular buyer. If you receive a suspicious email such as the ones described above, report it to us and to law enforcement.

Escrow.
An escrow service provides protection for both buyer and seller so the seller shouldn’t have a problem using this service. An escrow service can hold your payment until you receive the item you have purchased. For a fee, an escrow service holds the buyer's payment until the seller has delivered the item purchased. However, scammers often set up fake escrow services. They claim an affiliation with well-known companies like 2BadMotorsports.com and Bad Ass Riderz LLC to create a sense of security. Remember these tips before you agree to use an escrow service. If any escrow-related email or website implies an affiliation with us by displaying our logo or by other means, report it to us and law enforcement.
Guard your personal information.

Online fraud often begins with a spoof email requesting financial information. These spoof, or scam, emails often impersonate a reputable company such as 2BadMotorsports.com.com or Bad Ass Riderz LLC by illegally displaying a company's name, logo or trademark.
The intent is to deceive customers into revealing information such as:
Username, Password, Social security number, Bank account number, Bank routing number, Credit card number

The only time we'll ever request your credit card information is when you're in the process of purchasing an ad on our website. We will not take down your listing because you don't provide account information. If you receive an email that asks for the kinds of information listed above, don't respond. Instead, report the email to us and to law enforcement.

Inspections.
A vehicle history report can provide useful information, such as who holds the title to the motor vehicle, watercraft, aircraft, or snowcraft and whether the motor vehicle, watercraft, aircraft, or snowcraft has been in an accident reported to authorities. You'll also find out whether the motor vehicle, watercraft, aircraft, or snowcraft was ever reported stolen, salvaged or damaged. In addition to a vehicle history report we suggest you have any vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic and always conduct a test drive. Ask the owner for all service records and any other paperwork they may have on the car. CARCHEX will give any automobile a 55-point pre-purchase inspection almost anywhere in the USA. Whether it is across the street or across the country their qualified, professional staff performs most inspections within 48 hours and can often provide same-day service.

For Buyers – please do not forget to secure title to your new car, truck, ATV, dirt bike, watercraft, aircraft, and snowcraft.
For Sellers – make sure the check you receive for payment is genuine.
For both Buyer and Seller – make sure you exchange all the proper contact information.
