A growing tradition!! Do you want to
be close to the football team? Do you
want to meet your favorite player? There
is no better way then to show up at
the Cockabooses at 5:30 every Thursday
night for
The Rally.
Four diehard Gamecocks began this wonderful
tradition in 1999 after our football
team started 0-4. These fans wanted
to show our players that we were still
behind them. Some people start arriving
as early as 5:00. As practice finishes,
the fans begin to form a tunnel. The
player's walk by giving high fives,
sign autographs, and pose for pictures.
